Korea Trip Budget Calculator

What this does

Every price you see in Korea is in won, and five-digit numbers stop meaning anything after a while. This calculator fixes that. Enter what you expect to spend each day in Korean won, and it adds everything up and converts the total into other currency.

Nothing is sent anywhere. Your plan stays in your browser, so you can close the tab and come back to it later.

How to use it

Start with the date you arrive, then fill in one row per day. Enter the total your group pays, not the amount per person — the room rate, the whole dinner bill. You can split it by the number of travellers at the bottom.

The four columns are only a starting point. Rename any of them by clicking the heading, or add your own with + Add category. If your trip runs longer than three days, + Add day extends it as far as you need.

Costs that don’t belong to a single day — flights, an eSIM, a rail pass — go in the One-off costs section underneath. These names are editable too.

When you’re done, Copy as image saves the whole plan as a picture you can drop into a group chat or keep for reference.

About the exchange rates

Rates come from the European Central Bank and update once a day, so the number you see is today’s mid-market rate. That’s the rate you’ll find on Google, and it’s the right one for planning.
